Project Description
This project focuses on carbon sequestration and greenhouse gas emission reduction through the sustainable management of rubber plantations in Loei Province, Thailand, under the Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program (T-VER). Developed by Charoen Pokphand Agriculture Co., Ltd., the initiative enhances carbon storage capacity through responsible plantation management, optimized fertilizer application, fire prevention measures, and long-term plantation maintenance. Covering more than 3,400 rai of rubber plantation areas across Phu Ruea and Dan Sai districts, the project is expected to reduce and sequester approximately 14,535 tCO₂e annually while supporting sustainable agriculture, climate action, and long-term environmental stewardship.
