Project Description
The “Forest in Our Home: Salangpan Pilot Area” project serves as a pilot reforestation and biodiversity enhancement initiative under Thailand’s T-VER framework, implemented by Charoen Pokphand Produce Co., Ltd. in Wang Muang District, Saraburi Province. Covering more than 416 rai across both restored forest areas and newly established plantations, the project focuses on long-term ecosystem rehabilitation through native tree planting, wildfire prevention, forest boundary protection, and continuous ecological monitoring. Designed to strengthen carbon sequestration capacity while restoring local biodiversity, the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to nature-based climate solutions, sustainable land stewardship, and its broader Carbon Neutrality and Net Zero ambitions.
