1. THAILAND CARBON PROGRAM OF RICE-FIELD FOR ALTERNATIVE WET AND DRY IN THE AREAS OF THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN
Rice farming in Thailand contributes significantly to greenhouse gas emissions, particularly methane from continuously flooded fields. This program addresses the issue by promoting water-efficient and climate-smart practices such as Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD), conservation tillage, proper fertilizer use, and non-burning waste management to reduce emissions while maintaining productivity. Charoen Pokphand Produce Co., Ltd. will work with FarmPro to support farmers through training, technical guidance, and full production-cycle services across eight clusters in northern and central Thailand. The program aims to lower GHG emissions and strengthen the long-term resilience and sustainability of Thailand’s rice-growing communities.

2. MYANMAR CARBON PROGRAM OF RICE-FIELD FOR GREENHOUSE GAS REDUCTION IN AREAS OF THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN
Rice farming in Myanmar is highly vulnerable to climate change and a major source of methane emissions due to traditional flooded cultivation. This program promotes water-efficient and climate-smart practices such as Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD), Direct-Seeded Rice (DSR), Aerobic Rice cultivation, conservation tillage, proper fertilizer use, and non-burning waste management to reduce emissions and improve productivity. CPP Myat Min Agro Co., Ltd., with support from FarmPro, will provide farmers with training, technical guidance, and full-cycle agricultural services across four key rice-growing clusters. The program aims to lower GHG emissions while strengthening the sustainability, resilience, and long-term prosperity of Myanmar’s rice sector.

Gold Standard
Gold Standard เป็นหนึ่งในมาตรฐานระดับสากลที่ได้รับการยอมรับอย่างกว้างขวางในด้านการจัดการคาร์บอนเครดิต ก่อตั้งขึ้นโดยองค์กร World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) และพันธมิตรอื่นๆ มาตรฐานนี้มุ่งเน้นไปที่การสร้างโครงการที่มีผลกระทบเชิงบวกต่อทั้งสิ่งแวดล้อมและสังคม โดยมีการตรวจสอบและประเมินผลอย่างเข้มงวดเพื่อให้แน่ใจว่าโครงการที่ได้รับการรับรองจาก Gold Standard นั้นสามารถลดก๊าซเรือนกระจกได้จริงและสร้างผลกระทบที่ดีต่อชุมชนท้องถิ่น
